Dec 1st Writing Experiment – 12 days of Xmas

The Peanut Gallery has spoken and the next group writing experiment for December will be a Embellishment on the 12 days of Christmas.

Rules:

  1. Write a Personal Finance or other blog theme related post that uses the 12 days of Christmas as inspiration. For example if you have a chicken, food, beer or fashion blog, you can use those as themes too.
  2. Try to go outside your writing comfort zone. Stretch yourself.
  3. Help me spread the word. The more the merrier.
  4. Post on Dec 1st.
  5. Link back  to this site or email me so that I know you participated.
  6. I will post a master round up list at the end of my Dec 1st article. Others can copy it if desired.
  7. Read other’s posts, laugh, have fun, and promote your fellow blogger.

Here is the last verse of 12 days of Christmas in case your memory is not what it used to be:

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!
